Winter fruits: Khaki

With the arrival of winter, the nature seems to loose some of it’s colors, but thankfully a few fruits resist to the harsh clime. And for our luck, the khaki is one of these fruits.

A fruit rich in vitamins A, B and C, iron and calcium, the khaki is excellent for the health of your eyes and skin. It also has antioxidant properties, helps to fight high cholesterol and guarantees many benefits for people who suffer with  hypertension.  

An excellent option of a healthy dessert for those who don’t want to get out of their diets, but can’t resist something sweet after a meal. This fruit is a great font of fibers and it helps you to lose weight, because it reduces the need to eat sugar and processed food.
