Brazil is a very rich country in flora and fauna, but even Brazilian people don’t know it very well. Thinking about that, we decided to write a few texts about Brazilian native fruits, and we are almost certain that you don’t even knew that they existed!
Today’s fruit is the Gabiroba. It’s exactly that, Gabiroba. It’s a really small yellowish rounded fruit. Actually, it’s really similar to a guava.
This fruit has pulp really succulent and full of little seeds. It can be found on the vegetation of the Brazilian interior.
If you want to try it, remember that the yellow ones are the ripest.
